Claude Desktop

Claude Desktop reads claude_desktop_config.json. The key is mcpServers. command is the binary. args is flags plus at least one allowed path.

Recommended args: --profile=strict --compact-mode --roots-mode=union. Leave --readonly off if the agent must write. Do not pass --git-network unless the agent must git push or git fetch. strict does not register git.
